1. Note for early risers who like good coffee: the Old Mill coffee shop doesn't open til 8; head downtown (very close -- and fun to walk around) to the local grind or Starbucks.

3. If you like shopping at more upscale chain stores, you'll like the fact that this hotel is right next door to the likes of Banana Republic, etc.

7. The complementary breakfast is served with METAL flatware and china; it's more like a buffet breakfast at a pricey hotel where you pay for it, except here you don't.

8. After expressing my displeasure with this, the likely inability to find a room elsewhere, and the ability of others to trump reservations you have made because they want to stay another nite when they dont' have reservations, I 'suggested' they give us two rooms.

9. I can understand the hotel not wanting to take care of noise issues until after 'quiet hours,' but this was clearly excessive and it sounded like a freshman dormatory.
