1. Large rooms with kitchen facilities, free wifi, 24h downstairs space to work, good beds and extremely helpful and friendly staff.

3. I chose this hotel because I really like Embassy Suites, but they were booked that week and this property offered everything I like about Embassy Suites (big room, kitchenette, and free breakfast).

4. The front desk staff was able to inform us about the Walters Art gallery exhibits and directed us to the top of the street where the 'Circulator' a free green bus was able to take us to the museum.

6. The hotel is not too far to walk to the Inner Harbor, and when we did not feel like walking, the Charm City Connector (free shuttle) has stops right by the hotel, we hopped on and went to town.

8. I was offered a discounted Hopkins rate on my room, which was delightfully un-fussy (no faux-art or foolish frills), with a very nice galley kitchen, king bed, free wired or WiFi Internet connection, and excellent soundproofing.

9. Additionally, just like other Hilton properties with free breakfasts, there's a sort of condiment bar that includes dried fruit, brown sugar and other items, to compliment the oatmeal or cereal.
