1. I have been to many cities and Baltimore is about as sketchy as any of them so be careful at night and be careful if you are by yourself.

8. Stayed a night at the Mt Vernon Hotel on a whim, found the service to be impeccable (Carl behind the desk had an easy, appealing sense of humor and took good care of our reservation.
