1. But when the projects resume, Circus Circus will have new neighbours and the aesthetics will improve.

3. One last note, for those who sneer at the view towards the south, the construction site will eventually turn into a lot of five or so hotels in a new resort and the next block down will be developed eventually as well.

4. I explained I needed a room with internet for business access and was reassured someone someone would collect our things and bring us to our new room.

5. I keep booking Circus Circus because for the price they offer for their West Tower rooms that have a brand new modern look is unbeatable.

The hallways had new carpet installed, but there seemed to be an issue on the one wall, they had exposed drywall and it was being repaired while we were there (was not an issue to me, I was happy they were repairing the problem) I would put this hotel on par with a Best Western Plus, or give it 3.

8. If we came back to Vegas with the kids on a more relaxed budget, I would choose either new York new York or Excalibur.

9. Upon check-in though, we found out our rooms on the 12th floor (which I imagine would have had a fantastic view) had not yet been cleaned, so Michael the check-in guy gave us an 'upgrade' to the new remodelled rooms in the Casino (Main) Tower.

10. The service was top notch and, after a mix-up with our room, Yohannes took care of us and even ran down to the front desk to get the keys to the new room for us so we wouldn't have to.
