1. Its hard to explain but it was feeling a bit dated and there were lots of fliers all over the floor in the hallways which made it look like a city street.

2. Since I'm in Vegas for business, what I like best about the Fairfield Inn is that it's a nice bit of sanctuary during very busy days that take place in the swirling lights and noise that is Las Vegas.

5. When staying in Las Vegas we alsways stayed at the Excalibur which our kids liked since it offers apart from the usual casino environment special attractions for kids such as an extensive kids arcade.

6. Just leave your high maintenance friends, girlfriend, or even boyfriend at home, these bartenders aren't around to treat you like royalty, there around to make fun of you, put funny hats with dirty sayings on your head and keep you laughing.

7. (fun place for your kids if you have kids) The shopping level is kind of like a bad abandoned mall in the smallest town you've ever been, the hotel website talks a lot about the shopping level - but once you arrive, theres about four stores and there not good ones.

8. You get to feel like an idiot walking through the whole hotel to get the pool, too.

9. The on duty supervisor had the audacity to make a snide remark, 'Now you know what our rooms look like for next time', implying that I was trying to freeload an upgrade.
