6. If you can afford better then take it because unless you are here to party hard too you'll feel depressed returning to the Excalibur.

7. If you can afford an extra $20 a night, stay at the MGM or even at the Tropicana across the street, which is almost the same price as the Excalibur, but with much better customer service and pools.

10. Nobody will mistake the Excalibur for Bellagio or Wynn, but it does provide an affordable and reasonably decent Las Vegas Strip experience, and is a good base from which to walk up and down the Strip.
