1. The staff was not too helpful, the food in the cafe upstairs was not very good, except for the breakfast which was fine.

Found a great deal on Expedia so stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel has a free pick up from the airport which is vey helpful as all the hotels on the strip are not allowed to do this, the hotel is located off the strip about 30minutes walk from hotel to bellagio along flamingo avenue, it's a very safe walk, I had no trouble at all even At 4am in the morning, it's very safe.
