8. Aspen has a really nice park for kids behind the hotel, and an awesome running/biking trail 2 blocks behind it (Rio Grande Trail, 18+ miles if you go left).

9. You can tell that the new ownership is going the extra distance as my room had new carpet, drapes, dvd player, awesome fireplace and the helpful staff said other things were on the way.
