1. better still, book a seat on the Hyatt shuttle to either Buttermilk, Snowmass or Highlands and they will even take you home.

2. The hotel: all apartments/rooms all have unique floorplans, so don't think that any one reviewer speaks for the whole place, for better or worse.

3. Spending xmas/nye at the Little Nell with a toddler had me going to Europe for two years until my better half found the Hyatt and insisted we give it a go.

4. You are much better off not renting a car in Aspen, anyway, as it's more of a hassle than a benefit with so much free public transportation available.
