The resort was situated in a good area where it was not all hustle and bustle, unlike the other
big
hotels seen near Disneyland.

The rooms were clean and
big
but outdated as far as electronics go, i have all my movies saved to an external hard drive and was expecting to project them to the in room tv with an hdmi cable but the tvs were pretty old so this wasnt an option.

We had our reservation confirmation letter IN-HAND when we arrived and were told that a reservation was not made and handed me and my husband two in-bound guest lists with the names, number of guests and room types of all guests scheduled to be there that week(which is a BIG no-no).

The pool was clean and
big
enough, unlike many hotel pools that more resemble oversize bathtubs (though the stairs into the pool are strangely slippery - use that rail).

You can take the free shuttle from the 'Toy Story' Disney parking lot, which is only a
big
empty lot away from the DCR.

We visited 2 beaches in the area, Huntington, parking $14,

For my money, the Anaheim Islander offers a much better value at an Autumn rate of $68 on Expedia and, of course, is much, much closer to Disneyland which makes a
big
difference while vacationing in Anaheim.
"Dolphin Cove--Really a Resort? Too far from Disney, my friend. "
