It really is a short walk to Disneyland and considering the price of hotels that are on the same street, it is often on the
cheaper
end of the spectrum.

There are plenty of
cheaper
hotels/motels further away from Disneyland if you're willing to use shuttles or pay for Disney parking but I personally wanted somewhere I could leave my car and just walk to the parks for a couple of days.

After one night's stay we booked out and into the Ramada Plaza which was further from the gate, but much
cheaper
, much cleaner and presentable and included breakfast.

They also allowed my sister to park her truck at the hotel and visit with us at the Disney parks for a minimal fee of $10 which is
cheaper
and more convenient than Disney parking lots especially since she had her baby grandson with her.

I'd skip the hotel pizza shop - there's menus to other local restaurants in the guest services directory, and other pizza places with
cheaper
pizza and free delivery.
