1. I must say that the staff are very pleasant--they seem as though they genuinely enjoy their jobs and want guests to enjoy their stay.

After the fiasco with the Brookdale Lodge, the Lemon Tree was like finding an oasis of comfort and excellent service after a long storm of negligence and rudeness:) The front desk staff bends over backwards to make sure their guests (and they treat everyone like a GUEST) are comfortable and have everything they need to make the stay a pleasant one.

7. I just assumed that it was a cleaning product which I did not find pleasant but 'oh well' The attendant at the desk was perfunctionary but by no means friendly or welcoming.

8. We chose this because of the price, location and their dog-friendly policy only, so were pleasantly surprised at all the rest - large, comfortable apartment, lovely grounds, breakfast, very comfortable beds and great staff.
