2. The front desk staff we`re friendly - the guy on the early AM shift was new and not sure how to bill my dry cleaning, but he got it taken care of without me having to wait long as I was checking out.

3. This is one of the new branded Holiday Inn hotels, and I have no real complaints, other than it has a very small lounge that isn`t open very late (11pm weekdays/Saturday, 10pm Sunday).

4. The new room smelled like cigerettes and still the internet service did not work with wireless.

6. I must say that none of the hotels by the freeway are vacation or relaxation spots, well, maybe the new Sandia one.

7. After two more catering directors came and went, we finally arrived at the hotel the day before the meeting and were repeatedly told that they would honor Peggy`s commitment by David, the new catering manager.

9. Most likely because of mixing of smoking and non smoking laundry (what you would expect from an old hotel but not from a brand new hotel that could benefit from better planning), the rooms smelled horrible.
