9. Our room overlooked a courtyard and was fairly quiet with the exception of the nearby hospital runs of an ambulance, which you couldn't hear when thee window was closed.

10. 7 blocks to Union Square and pretty quiet in general around the hotel - we didn't see any dodgy characters and we walked to the 24 hour market at around midnight.
