1. Although quite small the Country Hearth Inn is more than adequate foran overnight when doing some of the cities attractions.

2. This place is cheap (we got the summer deal) and convenient (it's right on the edge of Golden Gate Park and a short walk to buses that will take you to all the main attractions.

3. There are not a lot of attractions within walking distance, but SF has such great public transportation that it's easy to get around without your car.

4. Obviously 30 and 28 buses are close to the country hearth inn and can be taken going to all majore attractions if you con't want to take the car.
