1. My primary reason for staying at the Stanyan Park Hotel was its proximity to the University of California, San Francisco and the as well as the proximity to public transportation.

5. Adequate accommodations (albeit small), friendly staff, clean, close to the Haight/Ashbury and parks, reasonably priced for San Fran with a free breakfast, perfect if all you need is a place to crash for a day or two.
