1. The room that is used for the breakfast was originally the hotel dinner room and also has some seating accommodation but guests do not have access to this area for any time other than breakfast.

2. Adequate accommodations (albeit small), friendly staff, clean, close to the Haight/Ashbury and parks, reasonably priced for San Fran with a free breakfast, perfect if all you need is a place to crash for a day or two.
