1. Hotel staff didnt seem to give a care about clientel and on checking out, asked to pay for bottle of water with cash, and was told not to worry about it.

However, here are some aspects I did not care for:Room 201:1) cheap design felt like I was staying in a child's room2) the lights & fan on a timer/sensor that didn't work3) all the piled-up pigeon crap outside the windows4) floor was uneven and lumpy5) bed was 6' from door6) no individual heating/air conditioner7) the location is a perfect place to see some of the worst that SF has to offer.

7. Both gentlemen behind the counter were doing their best to take care of everyone.

8. Just be careful to book this hotel in summer, as there is no air conditioning and my bathroom was already very warm in January as it is exposed to the sun all afternoon.

10. This seemed quite rude to me, as we were not rude to them about the issue--and they had 7 hours to take care of getting the room cleaned.
