2. We go to fabulous San Francisco for our 'break from the teenagers' every so often and this hotel was so perfect; I gave 4 stars though because the bathroom window opened to a view of the building across the way.

5. It is perfectly located in downtown close to transportation, parking is expensive as expected of the city so I avoided renting a car.

7. I put all of my visiting Italian producers up at the Mark Twain; it is very convenient for us to get to, and when work is over it is perfectly located for them to have a good time in the city.

8. If you are looking for a ritzy 5 star stay go elsewhere but for simple and affordable with all the stuff you need The Mark Twain is perfect.

10. For my entertainment interests, this is a perfect location because it is close to most of the theaters and clubs/music venues I frequent and about a (brisk) 40 minute walk to AT & T Park, home of the baseball Giants.
