1. If you are going to San francisco you will probably not stay in the hotel except for sleeping, so get your reservation in the powell hotel and enjoy the convenient price and excellent servise.

3. 1st class front desk folk, rooms have flat screen TV, free interent connection,coffee and I had a fridge not sure if that is standard, very quite except the idiot next door that did not believe in respecting other guests and let the door slam everytime, but thats not the hotels fault.

6. Staff at check-in were very pleasant and helpful, and honestly, it was very reasonably priced, I felt safe, it was pretty quiet (except for the cable car outside the window and who could complain of that?.

8. The room was quite small, and the hotel had nothing really special about it - except that it was in a very good location, close to BART and MUNI trains to the airport and the rest of the city, as well as the cable car to Fisherman`s Wharf.
