4. We were upgraded to an executive king room on check in, and the room included a king bed, couch, 2 chairs and a small table right near the window which provided excellent light, a 27' flat-panel TV (a little small, but we didn't use it much).

5. Overall I think that if you are comfortable in an urban environment and have a decent sense of direction, the Carriage Inn is an excellent choice for its location, price and comfort.

Lovely large Victorian parlor rooms, excellent beds, extended Continental breakfast served to the room at the time you designate, robes, free shuttle to and from Union Square, covered parking, refrigerators and coffee makers, hi-speed internet and they were just installing new safes when we left.
