1. Marriott's Union Square property has neither the charm nor the tradition of other celebrated San Francisco hotels like the Mark Hopkins, etc, but it impresses with efficiency and simple understated elegance.

10. Rooms feel modern and beds are superbly comfortable the only thing that lets the hotel down are that staff are efficient but not that personable vs other Marriotts I have stayed at.
