1. Valet parking is expensive, some others who attended the meeting drove to the Larkspur ferry station, left their car there and took the ferry over which was cheaper than parking at the hotel.

3. I suggest one tram trip for the novelty factor and then use taxis (fare to downtown is about $10) or I think you can get a SF public transport pass for your stay which includes the trams and would work out cheaper if you are intent on moving around SF.

5. We eventually chose the Hyatt because it was somewhat cheaper and ticked many of the boxes in terms of Modern Decor, and we specifically called and requested the corner deluxe room due to its size, and it was about GBP 300 cheaper for the 3 nights than the other hotel.
