6. The Seneca is situated across the road from The Water Tower and is in easy walking distance of lots of good shops and restaurants, including Macy's, best Buys (great for photographic equipment) The Cheesecake Factory, and lots of other tourist attractions and is also close to the stops for the tour buses; we went online and booked our tickets for these in advance and paid a lot less than if we'd have brought them in situ.

10. A summary of the extensive list of faults and deficiencies here: some rooms(mine included) horribly small and cramped, quite old, frayed and dirty appearing carpet, uncomfortable and cheap beds and bedding, dirty grout and caulking in all rooms, loud noise from streets, poorly informed and motivated maintainence staff, poorly functioning air-conditioning (a biggie if you know Midwestern summers), very dated and partly malfunctioning appliances (my lamp had to be 'turned off' by unplugging it from the wall as directed to me by maintainence with no attempt to replace or repair this problem), and best of all.
"Terrible option, steer clear. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/5/2011 Vote
