3. After about 25min sitting in the room waiting, I was shown to a new room located on the spa floor, I guess they call that an upgrade from my original room on the 19th floor but I would have preferred to stay on the 19th floor as I had two closets a microwave, ref ridge, stove and a fully stocked kitchenette plus my traveling companion was next door.

5. Many Chicagoans resisted the idea that Trump could come in, build a new skyscraper and a great hotel to boot - the same way we resisted the name change from Sears to Willis Tower (it's still the Sears Tower) or sale of Marshall Fields to Macy's (it's still Marshall Fields to us) but the Trump is a legitimate contender in the top rung.

7. These rooms just FELT luxurious - with an espresso machine, extremely comfortable bed, and lounge seating that made it feel like it could be your new high-end condo instead of a hotel.
