The continental breakfast is a cut above what you might think of, as it includes hard-boiled eggs, wonderful fresh fruit, and capuccino made to order, as well as the usual continental fare, and the evening happy hour is wonderful - decent wines, cheeses, breads, crudites, and some exceptionally good olives.

7. visited NYC late Sept and Elysee matched the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor; great location, quiet, friendly helpful staff, and decent value due to breakfast, afternoon drinks, and wi-fi, all included in price.

9. Overall, personally I wouldnt stay here again but if you don't mind non-super modern digs and your main criteria is decently cleaned and a comfy bed, you would do fine here.
