1. I stayed in a city facing room an appreciated the touches that made the room feel more like an individual room in a small B&B.

2. View - to watch the sunset, see cruise ships and other boats coming and going, and be right on the water sure beats the usual Seattle view of the wall of an adjacent old building like we've seen with the other hotels.

7. The fireplace is set on a timer and when its about ready to shut off it beeps like an alarm.

8. The Marriot is up the street but does not have the same view of both the water and the city and does not 'literally' sit on top of the water like The Edgewater.
