1. Lanai is charming; we enjoyed eating at the local cafes with the locals, nice little shops, spent time at both 4 Season Resorts.

5. There is a shuttle from the Hotel Lanai to both of the Four Seasons resorts, each of which provides a nice place to hang during the day (one on a beach; the other in the high country).
