1. The only downfall that I found was that while the Lodge provided clean sheets, it did not provide blankets, which I did not have and is a must for me (I like to feel the weight) even in rather hot weather.

Price was fair ($35/night for my 11-year-old son and I combined, prices may differ for your individual situation), laundry services were cheaper than the local laundromat, bicycle rentals and convenient to bus service, television, vending, guided side trips, kitchens for each separate dorm, and my son liked the fact that they had a computer for guests to use that offered free connection to the internet (in addition to regular wi-fi).

6. Service was fantastic, they met all our basic needs plus did extra stuff like find us a free ride to the airport and tell us about the swimming holes like the cliff diving site behind Rainbow Falls that only the locals knew about (not mentioned in the guidebooks).

9. Abraham and Lana were awesome and kept us laughing and even told us about some great local waterfalls that were completely void of all the tourist traffic jams like Rainbow Falls and Akaka Falls.
