1. Once you walked into you room, it was SMALL like a COLLEGE DORM ROOM and the beds were so low to the ground.
"THE WAVE IS ONE OF THE WORST HOTELS THAT I'VE STAYED AT...DON'T STAY HERE " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/22/2010 Vote
2. This was the first time I had ever used valet parking (which usually is a waste of money for a graduate student like me), so I just assumed that I would only be charged for that one day.

3. Food, drinks, hotel stay, and women's clothes all tend to be expensive in Miami Beach as it is, but it would have been worth it to stay at a hotel that costs twice as much for half the time instead of staying for a week at a huge letdown like The Wave Hotel.

4. Because the parking situation in South (Miami) Beach is chronically bad, especially during peak times like on the Sunday evening when we arrived, we decided to forego the frustration of trying to find a parking spot and used valet parking on that particular day, which cost us $30.

5. Okay, granted it is southern Florida where it usually does not get very cold during March, but still, we like to be able to control the air temperature in our room in both directions.

6. We like it cool during the night when we sleep and somewhat warm when we start getting up.

7. Parking took forever, the valet parking had to go like 5 blocks down the street just to get the car and it was NOT FREE parking either.
"The wave....nothing wavy about it... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/10/2010 Vote
8. This hotel was not what we really thought it was going to be like for the price we paid.

10. I liked the location - within a block or so from all the action, but quiet enough that we didn't get the headache-inducing noise levels from the partygoers on South Beach.
