1. However there's usually a reason why: we were checked in to the very last room ( although it did not feel like the hotel was full by any means) right at the top of the hotel, right at the end of the corridor which made us feel a bit second class with the stigma of getting the cheap seats.

2. Besides, we were going for new year's eve, so we didn't exactly envision being in the room for any reason other than sleeping or nursing a hangover, so it didn't really matter.

5. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider it again if I couldn't find something reasonable downtown.
