4. After a manic 2 weeks last year in new York and Orlando when we came home needing a rest, we had the most relaxing time at the Doubletree in Sunny Isles.

7. We stayed 10 nights at this apology of a hotel (we wanted to leave pretty much the next day after we checked in, but our hands were tied since the booking was non-refundable and we would lose whatever we spent if we checked out earlier) around new Year's.

10. the kitchen counter tops had crusted food and dirt all over it and the kitchen floors were gritty (my brand new white socks were black and full of crumbs within minutes).
