3. ) Next time we are in Princeville, we will definitely stay at the St Regis as it is more our speed (the Westin just is far more limited in facilities, room service, etc), but since my expectations for the Westin weren't very high, I was very pleasantly surprised.

We knew this was a timeshare property and had read some of the negative reviews about how people were treated by the staff after either declining to listen to the sales pitch or choosing not to buy in, but our experience was very pleasant - even after my husband firmly but nicely told them we weren't interested in listening to their pitch.
