1. We would recommend this location to anyone new to the island or planning on spending time on both the north and south sides of the island or to anyone traveling with families that plan to spend a week or more on Kauai.

5. All of the little towns along the island have great hole in the walls, but if you are new to the area try to get back to the hotel vicinity by dark because the roads are dark and wind up and down the mountain and forest.

6. Even though we did not book with Outrigger, the staff were very helpful and we were afforded full acecss to the new workout room and the business office.

I am originally from kauai and have stayed at many of the hotels here and this is one of the best on the island to me and one of the best in general (we travel a lot) We stay here every time we come home to visit in the 2 bedroom unitThe rooms are new with top of the line stainless steel appliances, a full kitchen with everything you need, washer dryer, 3 Tvs with Dvds, nice decor, comfy beds3 lanais to enjoy the fresh island air.
