1. Finally, a couple of suggestions, (1) at a minimum get the partial ocean view, the other views look out over a parking lot (2) you can rent through outrigger or through local agents or vrbo I believe so you might want to see where you can get your best deal (3) bring some HE detergent with you in your luggage.

5. The view, room and pool can be spectacular here, but this particular resort's beach isn't the best, and it isn't something you would know from looking at photos.

7. Tips: Foodland better than Safeway, Kayaks can be rented alacarte upstream at Hawaiian Village rather than river mouth for the secret falls hike, bike ride the ocean path 4 miles north, Boss Frogs has cheap bike rentals, and tahiti nui in hanalei is the best spot to take in some 'island time'.

9. The beach was OK ,but not the best for swimming or snorkeling because it was very rocky with coral ,however there are many other beaches to choose from on the island .
