2. The only negatives I can find here is that the rooms are a little dated and worn in places, but with a new shopping center springing up right next door soon, I'd imagine a renovation is probably right around the corner.

3. The on-site dinner restaurant (La Grotta) is exquisite, and despite the fact that it's an italian restaurant, they serve the best new York Strip I've ever had (this includes establishments such as Ruth's Chris, Ringside, and El Gaucho).

5. I was able to stay at the Crown Plaza on new Year's Eve and may I say that it was one of the best hotel stays that I have had and I have had many.
