3. The on-site dinner restaurant (La Grotta) is exquisite, and despite the fact that it's an italian restaurant, they serve the best New York Strip I've ever had (this includes establishments such as Ruth's Chris, Ringside, and El Gaucho).

4. To sum it up, at the rate I booked through Hotwire, which I use a lot, this was one of the best experiences I've had on a trip so far and would have still been pleased if I paid more.

5. The fitness center was the best & largest I've used in a hotel, the indoor/ outdoor pool was very nice, and even though we never used it, the restraunt and bar area seemed busy as did the Starbucks they have in the lobby.

6. I was able to stay at the Crown Plaza on New Year's Eve and may I say that it was one of the best hotel stays that I have had and I have had many.
