1. * No slippers or robes, which are pretty standard in most hotel suites* Maid service is not provided daily - our bin wasn't emptied at all while we were there* No safe is provided in rooms, so there's nowhere secure to leave anything, especially important in the ground floor rooms that have windows opening straight onto the terrace* We had a kingside bed but the bedding was nowhere near big enough, so the sheets didn't reach across the bed and bared the mattress* There is no shelf space in the bathroom so there's nowhere to put a wash bag* The room was pretty tired - eg.

2. It was a little chilly to enjoy the beautiful courtyard, but it still felt lovely to wait outside for our ride with the big fire going.

3. We stayed over Christmas for two days with our two big dogs and it was fabulous.

4. The best feature of the hotel, however, is the outdoor courtyard, with comfy furniture, cozy blankets and a big fire pit in the center.

5. Kitchen was big (and not really necessary) - full size stove/oven and fridge.

6. The staff is exceptionally courteous, the rooms are comfortable and very clean, the courtyard is a big plus for those of us who love to have a drink outdoors, and the artwork is funky and modern.

7. The part I hate about big hotels is how long it takes to get out the front door from your room.

9. Most people were dropped off at the big box [$200 a night plus] hotels.
"Beautiful place, Beautiful Space, Beautiful Price. No Shame in this Game! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/19/2009 Vote
10. It's only about 3 blocks from from the Four Seasons Hotel, so if you want to spend 3 times as much and stay in a big, impersonal, corporate, luxury hotel, please do so, but for my money and pleasure, I'll take a well-managed, hip little boutique like the Artmore any time, any place.
"Fabulous Price for a Wonderful Small Boutique Hotel with Friendly Service! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/7/2009 Vote
