It it's also a happy gathering place and more
like
a restaurant atmosphere than a lobby.

I believe if you're parking your car in their ample lot that you are gouged for some outrageous price
like
$12-15/day, so be forewarned (seems to be the case with many Atlanta Midtown hotels).

The pictures advertised make it look
like
you're in a verdant tree-lined setting; you're not: you're in a land of concrete (that said, the patio and pool area, which I didn't use, looked nice, nonetheless).

Concierge was very nice, there was always hot tea, hot cocoa and coffee available on your way to the elevators, lots of computers with free internet and a small convenience shop good for a bag of chips (although overpriced
like
every other hotel).

There is a lot of bustle at all times and,
like
someone else said, a lot of large groups for family reunions which also made the hotel noisy while I was there both in the rooms and the common areas.

The rooms are dated and could use some renewal, and you are
like
ly to see visible dirty spots / wear and tear in chairs, carpet, etc.

Low: Workers were friendly, but there didn't seem to be enough people on duty to handle immediate issues,
like
picking up trash that remained in elevator for a full day or managing the 100-person family reunion that kept everyone awake.

I
like
Marriott hotels but this one was pretty disappointing.

I
liked
the way they prepared the scrambled eggs and seeing biscuits and gravy again made me really happy [and fat].

The only thing about this hotel I didn't
like
was the shuttle bus didn't run on the weekends so had to take a taxi.
"Only one suggestion "
