6. After multiple phone calls to the main reservation line (they still show my reservation is good and active) and to the hotel directly it has become immediately clear that they have no intention of honoring the reservation that I made almost a year ago for the convention.

7. A good walk to some restaurants and bars and the breakfast was okay in the morning.

8. Poor girl had to check people in, make sure the the rooms were clear via radio to staff (which probably kept people from going into an already occupied room thank goodness) and answering the telephone answering questions about directions etc.
