1. There is a nice parking lot atop of a hill (it's a little trek for anyone who minds it, we don't), and we almost always stay in Perimeter when we go to ATL as it is a very safe, non touristy area with plenty of restaurants around.

3. I didn't explore the hotel much beyond the room, but there are plenty of sitting areas as well as a bar and small restaurant in the lobby area.
