4. The best Western Inn by the Sea is walking distance from the beach and the main "village" areas of La Jolla, and a 5-10 minute drive from the business areas and UC San Diego, VA Medical Center, Scripps Institute of Oceanography (Birch Aquarium).

8. We live in Santa Monica but have season tickets at the La Jolla Playhouse so the best Western Inn By The Sea is a nice option centrally located in La Jolla Village.
