1. On walking the halls, it did appear that some items needed updating, but other items, fixtures, carpeting and furniture were new additions and I had the feeling that this was a hotel that could easily move to the next level.

2. Te new room key would not open the doors to the stairs in the wing I was in,so every time I left I had to walk back though the other wing.
