1. The beds are all new pillow-top Serta's and the restaurant has glass all around and offers breath-taking views of the mighty river.

2. the room was very clean and especially the bathroom; the AC unit was inadequate as it never really kept the room cool unless you were standing next to the AC unit; the credenza that the TV sits on is way too big for a hotel room; if new TV was installed and hung on the wall, you wouldnt need the huge piece of furniture.

3. Staff seemed like second draft high school players compared to the new Hilton up the street, which I had stayed in a few weeks before (the Hilton is a great hotel experience, by comparison).

4. The pool and structure were "old school" Red Lion, although the lobby was spacious, new-looking, and decorated tastefully.

8. The carpet, beds, and furniture appear to be new, and the spacious bathroom has new tiling and a granite countertop.
