After going back down to the check-in to ask for a different room to look at, and having to insist on a different room for quite some time [Thanks Karen, you really made a GREAT impression (sarcasm)], I finally got to see more of what I expected from a room, and happily took that room, even though my fiancee had now seen a way better room and was disappointed with the room we got.
