1. There is no shop/bar onsite but this is not a problem as everything you need is only a couple of minutes away in the car (or half hour plus on foot)- Sears, JCPenney, Kohls, Smiths supermarket (do not use Walmart as it is like doing the weekly shop in a wholesalers as the quantities are too big for us Brits.

2. My best recommendation is to look out for the big, grey boulder wall which is opposite the Cliffs and seemed to be the only wall like it in Vegas, so was a good landmark.

3. One big plus: location of the resort is right by a huge mall - Kohl's, JC Penney, Sears.

5. they even have a lower area (2 steps down from pool) with big fireplace, bar tables and 4 bbq's for everyone to enjoy.

7. --pool is not very big but there were always 5 or 6 kids and same amount of adults in there at same time and seemed to be enough room.
