1. The area that the hotel is in is very modern and clean, like a mini financial district with a shopping centre 5 mins from the hotel (which also had a Macys).

3. We chose to stay outside of Manhattan to save some dollars and we don't mind doing a little commute into Manhattan, makes us feel like locals.
