We shopped at the Food Pantry to begin with but later just shopped in the ABC which was
cheaper
and on every corner practically.

The lower (
cheaper
) floors need some remodeling, although they are perfectly fine; but the upper (more expensive) floors are simply amazing.
"The rooms are nicer on the 17th, 18th, 19th, floors and higher. "

We did not eat their breakfast because you pass coffee stands that sell bagels/muffins and there are also restaurants that sell
cheaper
breakfast on the way to the convention center.

Sadly the budget hotels simply aren't making enough money to update that often and normally they will do the same thing that Royal Garden does which is maintain their suites and penthouses before refurbishing the
cheaper
rooms.

Some of the
cheaper
rooms are not quite as nice - you get what you pay for.

We stayed only two nights (78$/night+tax) and moved for the rest of our 10-day stay to a 2-star hotel few blocks away, closer to beach with a
cheaper
price (50$+tax).
