3. The individual A/C was new, there was a decent sized fridge, new furniture and 'art' hanging on the walls, the lobby area was nice, and the place was fairly secure but don't let the Bath & Body Works shampoo/bar soap nor the 8am 'breakfast knock on the door' get you to pay too much for this place.

4. The pictures made it look fairly decent BUT: only one wall was re-painted; the beds were so old that you were really just sleeping on the wire coils and the website made it seem like you would get at least two queens but we only got two doubles; old, disgusting bedding with bed bugs; outdated fixtures especially in the bathroom; a window without shade in the bathroom, and a tv not worth turning on.

5. You would think that for $150 per day that you would get a decent place to stay, but that wasn't the case for the Diamond Head Beach Hotel.
