3. It is right by the elevator & near the laundry room so you clearly hear all the comings & goings & the pop machine, which every time, when started up sounded like a jet engine, great when you are trying to sleep.

5. The bad:a double bed mattress seemed very old as we both felt like we were sinking into the bed and no we are not obese.

6. you could go to one of the many, many ABC stores and pay a lot - but does that sound like us? Nope, we found a local grocery store (a real one - safeway size) called the food pantry right in the thick of Waikiki and walked over there each day or so for supplies.

8. The Bus stop is across from the hotel on Kuhio St, and route # 2 takes you not only to Ala Moana mall but to some of the tourist attractions like the Iolani Palace and Kamehameha statue.
